I’m doing well! I’ve met some great people at work as well as other participants through Inspire Learning. I can’t believe I’ve almost been here a month, it seems like I arrived just yesterday. I’ve been keeping busy during the week with my job and have been travelling to places like Cork and Connemara on the weekends. I’m so thankful for this wonderful opportunity!
Yes, I have been very busy lately! The first match of the season is tomorrow and I’ve been trying to get involved with anything I can for match day to get all the experience I can. I absolutely love working here and everyone I work with! It has been an absolute blast. I’m really looking forward to the match tomorrow and finding out what match day has to bring. I am really enjoying my stay here and I’m already dreading the day I have to head back to the states even though it’s a few months away yet.
This just keeps getting better and better! The family I’m staying with is amazing, they’re the coolest people I’ve ever met. The internship is going quiet well too: I’ve already wrote several press releases, assisted a photo shoot session, made designs for Twitter profile and a presentation, among other things. My boss and the people I work with are really kind and are as grateful to have me here as I am to them for taking me in. I’m really happy, I couldn’t have made a better choice.
My experience in Ireland was life-changing, breathtaking, and overall magical. From my very first day in Dublin to my last in Westport, my feelings about the place were enriched. After my experience, I had developed a love and deep respect for the people and for the land.
I love my internship, I am getting to ride sometimes over four hours a day! It’s great experience for me and every week I join a lesson and am learning more about their style of riding and they are teaching me how to jump, something I thought I may never get to do! I love all of the people and the horses. We are starting Pony Camp which means there will be lots of young children to teach and while at times they can be frustrating, I really enjoy it.
I am doing very well here! I’m really enjoying working with Anna and everyone at the firm, and adjusting to Dublin very well. I’ve been able to meet up with some of the other girls these past few weekends and we’ve had a great time!
Everything is going well! I think I meant to reply to your last email but then got busy and lost track. My placement has been great. Dr. Barry is very helpful and accommodating and has helped me make the most of my time here. Additionally this has been a good opportunity for me to talk to students doing their Masters or PhD because I’m headed in that direction. Thanks for checking in!
Thank you so much for everything, Jana. I know I didn’t keep in great contact—there was just so much to do and experience! I loved knowing that I always had your help and support throughout this whole process. It truly was unforgettable and I will cherish these memories forever. Thank you again.
